The domestic retrofit industry is one of the UK's fastest-growing industries, meaning people with retrofit qualifications and skills are in high demand.
Domestic Retrofit involves upgrading or improving the energy efficiency and comfort of residential buildings. The primary goal is to reduce energy consumption and costs by promoting sustainable practices, such as insulation, double-glazed windows, and renewable energy.
Upon completion of this online course and passing the course exam, you'll receive a recognised Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit.
Duration: 3 days (Monday to Wednesday) from 9:30 am to 4 pm.
Location: Online, lecture-style sessions taught by an industry professional, including discussions and Q&A.
Qualification: Following the 3 day course, learners may schedule a free online assessment. By passing this assessment learners will achieve a Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit.
Eligibility: No entry requirements. Available exclusively to residents of England ONLY.
Anyone interested in retrofit can take this course. While no prior experience or knowledge is required, a strong willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with or curiosity about the technical aspects of building design will also help learners better absorb the content.
